Yo! My name is David, and I’m from around the Philadelphia area. I’m a junior in high school and my main interests are art and science.
I’ve been doing furry art for about 3 years now, but only recently have I been doing a good job at it. I do some acrylic painting too. What I really like is metalworking. I’ve made two suits of chain mail and a few other parts of armor. There’s nothing like forming metal. I also, of course, make costumes. Being a furry, I’ve made myself a fursuit, two actually, and I’m working on a third. It’s all of my character, but each version gets progressively better. I’m not taking fursuit commissions yet, but maybe soon.
My dad is a biologist, so I’ve grown up around science. I love all sorts of science, especially chemistry and theoretical astrophysics. I’m not joking, I love trying to comprehend all the aspects of gravitational time dilation. Who needs drugs when a physics textbook has an equally mind-exploding capacity?
Nature is very important to me. When I was in kindergarten we learned about the Native Americans, and we spent a lot of time in the woods that surrounded the school. In the summer of 04 I went on my first
Outward Bound expedition, 106 miles in the boundary waters of Minnesota. It was one of my most life changing experiences. When I started it, I hated it, but by the end I loved it. I loved it so much that I went on a
second one in Maine, and a third one back at the boundary waters.
